In fact, last year I played at a little club in Quebec, Canada and had to play burned CDs on Pioneer CDJ 100s (no I didn’t forget a zero!). The mixer was ancient too. The crowd was fun so it was my mission to play as seamless a set as possible and I think I succeeded.On the opposite end of that scale, playing in massive warehouse-style venues is a really incredible experience.Getting up on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans is such a rush. I’m often shaking with nerves when I first get up there ‘ but it’s just energy so it can quickly be transformed into enthusiasm which I utilize to uplift myself and my audience and take them on an exciting musical ride.I usually can’t sleep after those shows; I’m naturally high from the whole experience. 12.You’ve played alongside some pretty big DJs’ tell us about your experiences and if you learned anything. The first really big DJ that I opened for was Tïesto. The concert was in 2010 during Spring Break in Cancun so everyone and their dog was there!I could not even see where the crowd ended; it was just a sea of faces that faded into the depths of the horizon.
