MESSAGE FROM CHIEF DIVKID

Welcome to the new and improved DivKid's
Month Of Modular. I'm still going to be just as
stupid and the magazine will still round up a
whole load of stuff from the month regarding
modular and related items. This issue signifies
the second year of the magazine after what
was a raging success of a first year.
Readership, sharing, comments was all way
above what I expected when launching the
magazine and that's helped things grow much
faster than anticipated.
You may notice advertising in the magazine
and as I strive to keep this personal, open
and honest here's the deal. I'm asking for £30
for a full page advert and £15 for a half page
advert to help with the running costs of the
magazine. I'm keen to keep everything free,
my videos, sites, events and this magazine.
So offering a couple of ads at what is hopefully
a low no brainer price will pay for each issue
of the magazine, some of my time and the network I'm going to build around it with my new site and on that note ...
I have a new site! Head to www.divkidmodular.com for my blog featuring the content from this magazine. I'm aware some people don't like this magazine format and looking at it through Joomag on a browser. First I'd recommend the Joomag app on a phone/tablet which is still interactive and a nice experience. If you follow me on social media you'll see I also share the magazine as a non-interactive PDF. The PDF and magazine links will now live on this website. As will interviews, modules of the month and a blog for all the news. So you'll still get this magazine as a monthly round up but the site will provide a searchable and more easily "backward compatible" platform for the content.

MODULE OF THE MONTH
This month I wanted to shed some light on the awesome DLD Dual Looping Delay from 4ms. The delay is featured packed and sounds
awesome. It was designed alongside Gary Hall of classic Lexicon fame and just oozes quality everytime I use it. It will sound of sound loop with ease has over 2 minutes of sampling / delay time, can do karplus strong synthesis with audiorate delays and more. Lovely! Click HERE for my video.
