Decorations Here is just a quick little checklist of things you could use to decorate your space for the tea party: • Table cloth • Napkins and place mats (if you’re feeling really fancy) • Flowers • A banner (depending on the occasion) or flower garland • Place cards • Silverware • Tea pot • Tea cups and saucers • Sugar and cream dishes • Trays and dishes for the food I don’t like spending a fortune on parties, especially on decorations so I usually try my best to find frugal ways to decorate. I’ve gotten a very nice tea pot and cups from a thrift store and they were still in perfect condition. I used a gently used floral print sheet as a table cloth instead of buying one and it worked beautifully.
