Decorations
Here is just a quick little checklist of things you could use to decorate
your space for the tea party:
• Table cloth
• Napkins and place mats (if you’re feeling really fancy)
• Flowers
• A banner (depending on the
occasion) or flower garland
• Place cards
• Silverware
• Tea pot
• Tea cups and saucers
• Sugar and cream dishes
• Trays and dishes for the food
I don’t like spending a fortune on parties, especially on decorations so I
usually try my best to find frugal ways to decorate. I’ve gotten a very nice tea
pot and cups from a thrift store and they were still in perfect condition. I used
a gently used floral print sheet as a table cloth instead of buying one and it
worked beautifully. And if you’re feeling really artistic, you can find tutorials
on Pinterest on how to make banners, place cards, and the garland.
