Elk Island Catholic Schools
(EICS), part of Alberta’s publicly funded education system,
serves the communities of Camrose, Fort Saskatchewan,
Sherwood Park, Strathcona County and Vegreville. EICS’
16 schools provides a faith-filled education to over 5700
students and offers a wide variety of programming - from
sports and fine arts to cultural and leadership programs.

Elk Island Public Schools is one of Alberta’s largest school
divisions, serving approximately 17,100 students in
42 schools. We are proud to be an integral part of our
communities, including Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan,
Vegreville, Strathcona and Lamont counties and the
western portion of the County of Minburn.
