FUTURE LEADERS’ DAY
Do you know a leader?
Someone who has initiative, shares knowledge and inspires
improved performance?
Well, we want to know about him or her!
This fall, we will host our fourth annual Future Leaders Day event at the CPSO offices in Toronto
and we are again looking to give young doctors the opportunity to see themselves in a leadership role in medical self-regulation.
Past Future Leaders Days have been an unqualified success. In fact, most of our attendees were
inspired enough to get involved in College work to become Peer Assessors and Medical Experts.
A number of FLD attendees have also since acted as ambassadors for the College by helping us
arrange speaking engagements and other meetings with the local physicians in their community.
We are particularly in need of
expertise from the following
speciality areas:
• Ophthalmology
• Urology
• Sleep Medicine
• Nuclear Medicine
• Orthopedic Surgeons
• General Surgeons
• Radiology
• Neurology
• Geriatric Care
And:
• lastic Surgeons performing cosmetic surgery
P
• hysicians Practising in Complementary Medicine
P
• nternal medicine and sub-specialties i.e., Respirology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, EndoI
crinology, Allergy/Clinical Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology and Cardiology
Is there someone you think might be interested in learning more about professional regulation
and how to participate? Please forward us his or her name. From the nominations we receive, 35
physicians from across the province will be invited to this year’s Future Leaders’ Day on Friday,
November 21st, 2014.
Please send your nominations to Leslie Ma, Sr. Outreach Coordinator or call 416.967.2600, ext 765
before August 15th. Space is limited.
