Platja de Pals
Platja de Pals Golf Club; founded in 1966 and designed by FW Hawtree is situated in the heart of the
Costa Brava.
Platja de Pals is the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava and hosted the Spanish Open in 1972 and also the
Catalonia Ladies Masters (Ladies European Tour) in 2005. During a consecutive span of 3-years, the resort
has been the home of the PGA European Tour Qualifying School Finals.
The course runs parallel with the beautiful white sands of Pals beach and is surrounded by dense green pine
forests. With its close proximity to other courses such as Emporda, Pals is an ideal location in which to base
any golf holiday. The Clubhouse is probably one of the most inviting in Catalunya with a very English feel to
it, cosy with a superb terrace, shaded by the surrounding pines. With the surrounding natural beauty, the
inviting clubhouse and the quality of the service, all combine to ignite enthusiasm in all levels of players.
Platja de Pals Golf course has direct course access to the 4-star La Costa Golf & Beach Resort Hotel located
between the course itself and the sea. The hotel has 120 bedrooms, 43 of which are suites, all with a terrace
or direct access the garden and views of the spectacular tropical swimming pool, the Platja de Pals golf
course or the sea. It also offers a large family suite with four independent bedrooms with bathroom. All the
bedrooms combine all the comforts and services of a 4-star Resort, where its decoration invites you to relax
in quiet, cosy surroundings.
If a self-catering option is preferred, golfers can stay in any of the 52 studio apartments which are situated in
front of the beach.
