Sava has been built on a green field site 10 minutes by
car to the nearest village with no other buildings within
its vicinity. Notwithstanding this isolation, the design
has used materials that whilst being modern in their
usage, have referenced the local vernacular. This has
softened the aesthetic of the villa designs making them
a very comfortable and contemporary.
The houses sits very comfortably on this essentially
flat site with the front villas having activities focused
around the swimming pool which is set-back from the
beach making it unobtrusive from the waterfront. The
houses at the rear of the site are elevated to allow clear
views of the Andaman sea.
