SYNSEAL Will Focus On Immovation At ECOBUILD 2016
Synseal will be exhibiting for a fourth year in succession
at this year’s Ecobuild, which is taking place at the
ExCeL exhibition centre in London’s Docklands on
8th-10th March.
Building on the success of their focussed presence at previous Ecobuild shows, Synseal’s stand will seek to demonstrate
the sheer diversity of Synseal group window and door
product solutions with a focus on true innovation.
Stand E2006 will feature the new Celsius Solid Roof, a
truly warm and quick fitting roofing solution for new build
and retrofit projects, alongside the popular WarmCore
"warm aluminium" folding sliding door which delivers
low U-values of 1.4 W/m2K using 28mm double glass or
1.0 W/m2K using 44mm triple glass.
Celsius Solid Roof is attracting high levels of interest and
visitors to Ecobuild will be able to inspect a cut-through
of the roof’s structural construction which employs timber componentry with no aluminium skeleton and uses
100% recycled Synseal Envirotiles to provide an impressive and modern-looking external decorative finish.
‘Aluminium Fire Screens Too Expensive –
Think Again!’
One of the UK’s leading systems suppliers of aluminium
fire screens has launched a new system, the slim MB-60E EI.
With just a 60mm frame depth, the MB-60E EI can
achieve a fire resistance class of EI15 or a EI30 according
to DIN EN 13501-2 + A1. Complete with polyamide
thermal breaks, the door system is ideal for use in both
external or internal applications. Door sets can be manufactured with both fixed lights and opening, single or
double doors, to create extensive screen assemblies.
For specification flexibility, the MB-60E EI door can be
specified with glazing thicknesses of between 5 to 41 mm
and can be manufactured up to 2,300 x 1,300 mm in size
per door leaf. The competitively priced MB-60E EI system
joins a wide range of windows, doors, screens and curtain
wall systems which can achieve ratings of up to EI160.
Aluprof also offer a comprehensive RIBA approved CPD
for specifiers titled ‘The Use of Glazed Screens to Control
the Spread of Smoke and Fire in Buildings’.
New Celsius Solid Roof Installation Video Is
Online Now!
Synseal has launched a new and informative “Celsius
Solid Roof Installation Guide” video on the company’s
Youtube Channel.
The 10-minute video production features two highly
experienced specialist roofing engineers Matt Williams
and Gary Woods from the Synseal Technical Services
department, working as a team to fit the Celsius Solid
Roof above existing PVC-U window frames to mimic a
typical UK conservatory retrofit-style installation.
Fully approved and registered by both the LABC and
LABSS for installations in England, Wales and Scotland,
the Celsius Solid Roof features an all-timber construction
with Kingspan TEK structural insulated panels (SIPs) to
deliver a truly warm roofing solution. This engaging
video uses real time and time lapse footage, supported by
graphic details where required, to demonstrate how swiftly
and easily the solid roof can be assembled.
