Conner Memorial Award. • Prakash Ghimir was a co-recipient of the 2015 Emilie Virginia Haynsworth Memorial Endowment for Excellence in Mathematics. • Mark Guest was a co-recipient of the 2014 Mary Neal “Mamie” Hurt Baskerville and Margret Malone Baskerville Endowed Mathematics Fellowship. • James Hammer was a co-recipient of the 2015 Emilie Virginia Haynsworth Memorial Endowment for Excellence in Mathematics. • Tahir Bachar Issa was a co-recipient of the 2015 Don and Sandy Logan Graduate Fellowship in Mathematics and Statistics. • Bertran Sedar Ngoma Koumba received the 2015 Dr. Kevin Doheny Annual Graduate Fellowship. • Jianzhen Liu was a co-recipient of the 2015 Don and Sandy Logan Graduate Fellowship in Mathematics and Statistics. • Yang Long was a co-recipient of the 2014 Ralph B. Bennett Memorial Endowed Fund for Excellence. • Kat Perry won the 2015 COSAM Outstanding GTA Award. • Rachidi Salako was a co-recipient of the 2015 Don and Sandy Logan Graduate Fellowship in Mathematics and Statistics. 14 • Zhongwei Shen was a co-recipient of the 2015 Don and Sandy Logan Graduate Fellowship in Mathematics and Statistics. Shen was also a co-recipient of the fellowship in 2014. • Hyunjin Son received the inaugural Dr. Kevin Doheny Annual Graduate Fellowship. • Mary Elizabeth Whitley received the 2014 Andrew C. Connor Memorial Award. A senior in applied mathematics with an option in actuary sciences, she has already passed two actuary exams, P/1 and FM/2, and she received the COSAM Outstanding Freshman Award and the COSAM Outstanding Sophomore Award. • Yuxiang Zheng was selected as one of Auburn University’s Outstanding Master’s Students for 2014-2015.
