MAR 14 ~ PHILADELPHIA FLOWER SHOW Private Behind the Scenes Tour View the exhibition with an expert guide in the early morning , before it opens to the public . Transportation provided . Space limited .
APR 20 ~ BIRD BANDING BREAKFAST AT BUCKTOE Enjoy a breakfast with our resident Ornithologist Ian Stewart .
APR 22 ~ ANNUAL MEETING & EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
All Members welcome . Takes place at Ashland Nature Center .
MAY 4 ~ NATIVE PLANT SALE PREVIEW WINE AND CHEESE
Enjoy wine and cheese as you shop the Native Plant Sale early . Experts will be onhand to offer advice on our selection of bird = attracting natives .
MAY 17 ~ TRIP TO ABBOTT ’ S MILL & DOGFISH HEAD BREWERY
Explore our hidden gem , Abbott ’ s Mill Nature Center , followed by lunch and a private tour of Dogfish Head brewery . Beer and spirit tasting included ! Transportation provided . Space limited .
JUN 1 ~ FLINT WOODS PRESERVE TO GRANOGUE ESTATE HIKE
Join us for an afternoon hike from Flint Woods to the water tower at Granogue with its amazing view . Lunch provided . Hike is a strenuous 3 miles .
SEP 7 ~ BIRD BANDING BREAKFAST AT ASHLAND
Monarch Legacy Society Members * are invited to enjoy a breakfast with our resident Ornithologist Ian Stewart .

Celebration
Saturday , April 22 10 am – 2 pm FREE for everyone
All Delaware Nature Society Members are invited to attend our Annual Meeting and Earth Day Celebration .
10 am – 11 am Official business meeting and awards ceremony in Ashland Auditorium with complimentary refreshments .
11 am – 2 pm Celebrate Earth Day Join us on guided hikes , try your hand at stream sampling , touch a live animal , discover spring raptors at the Hawk Watch and learn how your actions can make a difference to improve our environment .
