It is with great excitement that our Delaware Nature Society team rolls out to you our new and improved program guide and newsletter : Nature Explorer . This new publication combines our spring and summer program listings with relevant articles that demonstrate the many , wonderful ways we work in the community to further our mission through conservation , education and advocacy .
Within this issue of Nature Explorer , we have featured stories about people who are truly making a difference in improving our environment , from state legislators to volunteers , a vast array of programs and activities offered at our sites , as well as our upcoming national and international trips . Each offering provides opportunities to connect with nature through hands-on , outdoor and one of a kind experiences in beautiful natural areas and preserves .
