All of us care about the suffering our under-privileged face. No doubt about it “The Hungry Be Fed” Mission could use your help. Whosoever will come, welcome! We recognize that the best antidote to economic misery lies in becoming immersed in something larger than oneself, i.e. giving. Truth be told, there’s little that can match the sense of gratuity on behalf of one’s country. Therefore the “Hungry Be Fed” Mission offers RasTafari who embraces selfless service a chance to keep giving. Quoting a young Ras, “I was blown away by how much better I felt,” I-Man recalled. “And I thought, Man, if I could just capture a little bit of that and hold it close to my heart, I think I could do all right. Things could get better in our community.” The emotional reward of giving to others supplants their anguish, perhaps only for a time.
