The journey to the birthplace ended at the Church in Kombolcha, the place where H.I.M was raised as a child. The place
where the mystic of H.I.M transcended from a youth – to Governor – then to a Regent in Addis Ababa; and to be crowned
Emperor of Ethiopia, and King of Africa with no apologize. So I left Harar on July 24 towards Addis Ababa, where I was
invited to attend the celebration of H.I.M with members of the Royal Family and loyal Ethiopians on July 27.
It is my conviction, based on what I experienced in Harar and Addis Ababa in July 2014, which a renewal of H.I.M
works is at hand within the political and social fabric of Ethiopia. However, it will happen gradually as changes
always takes time to manifest itself. So there is hope for the Rastafari Movement to continue its peaceful fight for
African Liberation; because many of the Ethiopian people I met on this journey expect US to carry on the works of
H.I.M in the West and in the Motherland. The challenge for the Rastafari
Movement is the lack of collaboration to fulfil the mandate of H.I.M to centralize and organize. Perhaps, the Rastafari Movement can assist the Haile
Selassie I Memorial Association to develop Ejersa Goro, the birthplace of
H.I.M again as Psalm 87 verse 5 states, “And of Zion it shall be said, this
mighty man was born in her; and the same shall establish her.”
In addition, to what the Metaphysical Bible Dictionary define Zion sunny;
very dry; clear; unobstructed; sunshine; set up; placed; established, constituted; fortress; monument, column; landmark (Fillmore, 1995, p. 700).
In terms of the Holy Celebration of Islam and the Ethiopian Orthodox
Church, as noted herein. The Muslim Holiday was Ramadan – month of
fasting, and for the Orthodox Church, St. Gabriel Holiday. Which both
were celebrated in peace and harmony across Ethiopia with chanting
and prayers; to me amazement, the Orthodox Christians took food to

their Muslim relatives at the end of fasting; which to me should be world
