Did you enjoy certain parts of the
day more so than others? Fill us in
with some behind-the-scenes?
I must admit, I’m not a big fan of
being in the sun for too long, and
most of the shoot did occur outside.
I think most of the shots are of me
squinting! But I thoroughly enjoyed
having my hair and make-up
done, of course. I’m generally not
a ‘girly girl’, so it was indeed quite
a treat to be fussed over like that.
The scenery was absolutely breath
taking! And the team I worked
with, simply amazing. All in all, it
was just such a fun and fantastic
experience.

Anything else you would like to share
with the readers about being chosen
as the cover star, and any other information?
I was completely gobsmacked when
receiving word that I had won. There
were so many beautiful individuals in
the competition, which I myself voted
for. It might seem silly, especially since
I don’t consider myself a model in
the least, but I have always secretly
wanted to be on the cover of a
magazine. An ‘alternative’ one, of
course. And I am elated that, at the
age of 36, I finally get to tick that one
off of my bucket list. Thanks for that
