'Venetia is an award winning photographer, world traveler and owner of Featherstone Photography & Film. Born in the UK, Venetia
moved to the USA where she created an art and custom framing business in Los Angeles, California. Subsequently Venetia created
other art related business's, including eight years working as a freelance chef aboard private yachts, which gave her more
opportunities for travel and photography. At present Venetia is exploring South America after visiting 6 countries in 2013 to capture
more alluring images for her business, Featherstone Photography & Film.'

Here is my piece. It is called Lava Flow at Sunset in Kalapana.
A fresh hot lava flows into the ocean at Kalapana, Hawaii, creating clouds of steam and shooting sparks into the air.

Pahoa, Hawaii is home to Kīlauea,, one of the Earth's most active volcanoes. The volcano is between 300,000 and 600,000 years old.
In the Hawaiian language the name Kīlauea means “spewing” or “much spreading.”
Halemaʻumaʻu Crater, a pit crater located within the much larger summit caldera of Kīlauea, is home to Pele, Goddess of Fire and
Volcanoes in Hawaiian mythology.
Hawaii is the only U.S. state with a tropical rain forest, and it is the only state with a royal palace, Iolani Palace, which is
located in Honolulu. Hawaii is also the only state to honor a monarch, celebrating King Kamehameha Day on June 11th since
1872.
The Hawaiian language has only 12 letters in its alphabet. They are A,E,I,O,U,H,K,L,M,N,P and W. They also use
a symbol called 'okina, often represented as an apostrophe.
