Baby Ballet

In this follow-up class, children will
develop the dance skills learned in
Baby Ballet Beginners. Emphasis will
be on developing confidence to
perform, while enhancing their
coordination, balance, flexibility and
musicality. Some contemporary
elements will be included. Please note
that parents must remain in the room
during the whole class. In this class, children will have the
opportunity to learn classical ballet
technique while exploring rhythm and
musicality and having fun moving
through space. The class will focus on
the basic elements of classical ballet
technique while at the same time will
give the opportunity to the kids to
express themselves and get confident
through dance. This class is suitable for
children from 6 to 8 years old. The class
wi ll be taught by Vasiliki Stasinaki who
is a professional dancer trained at the
Greek National Ballet School and at
Northern School of Contemporary
Dance and is a member of Maiden
Voyage Dance Company in Belfast. In this class, children will have the
opportunity to learn classical ballet
technique while exploring rhythm and
