Mary Montague NEW WORKSHOP Dr Rachael Kelly Dr Rachael Kelly Rosie Pelan Inspector Montalbano Writing Ourselves Writing Fiction Settings Playing Comedy for Actors Inspector Montalbano is back! If you’re a fan of the Sicilian detective, then come to this interactive workshop to learn more about the characters and the actors of the TV series, Andrea Camilleri (the fascinating writer of Montalbano novels), the Sicilian culture, including places, food and dialect, and finally test yourself with a quiz full of curiosities on the Inspector, that this year will also include Young Montalbano! You may have a great desire to write but don’t know how to start; or you would like to use writing to explore your creativity. In this one day workshop, we play with imagination and dreams, challenging our fears – of the blank page, of looking foolish, of failure – and enchanting ourselves to write out of our centre and persist creatively into the future.
