“lingua” before the summer. We are
going to have a lot of fun together and
you will have the opportunity to tell
your teacher what you would like to
do.

This course, designed for people with
very little or no experience of French,
will introduce you to the language and
culture, giving you the basic tools to
communicate on your next visit to
France. It will focus on speaking and
interacting in French, using everyday
situations such as meeting people,
eating out and asking for directions. This constantly evolving acting class
has been running for over 16 years, is
open to all levels of experience. The
lessons offer training in voice,
movement and improvisation skills,
while also focusing on text work and
looking at modern and classic plays.
You will develop your confidence in
performing as you train as an actor and
a team player in this fun, accessible
class. Rosie teaches many classes for
the Crescent Arts Centre and Queen’s
University. The course is designed to offer
students the ability to communicate
with Deaf people who use Sign
Language and aims to provide
information on Deafness – Deaf with
people – Deaf Community/Culture. By
the end of the course the students
should be able to communicate and
use the skills with Deaf people – a
course certificate will be given out at
the end of course. This course, designed for people with a
very good knowledge and command
of French (equivalent to A-level), will
explore cultural aspects of France while
reinforcing communication skills. The
focus will be on speaking and
interacting in French, but at the same
time it will develop linguistic skills,
including grammar and vocabulary.
