Terms and Conditions of the Crescent Arts Centre (‘the Centre’) - Cameras, mobile phones and all electronic devices must be switched off during events, classes and workshops (especially Life Drawing classes & workshops). Anyone failing to comply with this will be asked to leave the event, class or workshop without entitlement to a refund. - The Centre’s Safeguarding Policy is available upon request. - Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited throughout the Centre. - The Centre is compliant with disability legislation. Anyone with special requirements or requiring assistance should inform centre staff when booking or enrolling. Parents/carers must notify the Child Protection Officer of their child’s special requirements. - All Centre material is available in large print, Braille or other formats upon request. - All Centre users are asked to consider the environment by conserving energy and recycling, reusing and upcycling suitable materials where reasonably possible. - Food and beverages (except bottled water) are strictly prohibited in class and workshop spaces except where agreed in advance. Only food and beverages purchased in the Centre are permitted in the Cube and Studio for events without tiered seating. - Management do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. - Disruptive or abusive behaviour towards staff, artists (including models, tutors and performers) or Centre users will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to remove and bar a customer from the Centre if behaviour is deemed inappropriate, or causes (or has the potential to cause) offence. - Enrolment for classes and workshops is subject to availability and there is no reservation policy. Booking is only secured upon full payment of all fees due. Concessions for students (fulltime), senior citizens (60 years of age or over) and those on benefits (Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Jobseekers Allowance, Steps to Work) a re available if proof is provided. If you are claiming a concession, please provide evidence of your status at reception when enrolling or on your first day of class. Please note that concessions cannot be claimed retrospectively. - Enrolment finishes at the time specified in the programme. If you have missed the closing date for the class, it is always worth contacting us to check if places are available. Subsequent enrolment is subject to management approval. No reduction is given for late enrolments. Enrolments for workshops must be completed 48 hours before commencement, unless otherwise stated. - Classes and workshops are facilitated by our experienced bank of freelance tutors. We ask that their direction and instruction be respected at all times. Page 48 - The Centre reserves the right to amend or cancel classes, workshops and events where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, insufficient enrolment or poor sales. Customers will be notified of the cancellation via email and text message if this contact information has been provided. It is the customers responsibility to keep the Centre informed of changes to contact details. Centre classes/workshops/events are only refunded in the event of a cancellation or on a participant's medical grounds. Suitable proof will be required. Class enrolments will be eligible for a refund asked for in writing within four days from the enrolment date, after that a strict no-refund policy is operated. Event tickets cannot be refunded once purchased unless cancelled or postponed. In this event, refunds must be claimed from point of purchase. All tickets for events are non-transferable after purchase. - Participants under 16 must have a parental/carers agreement form signed by a parent/carer prior to their participation in Centre classes/events/workshops. Young children must not be left unattended outside allocated class times. If a child requires any personal assistance the parent/carer will be expected to remain on the premises for the duration of the class attended. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult to events. Children under the age of 3 are not permitted to Centre events except where an event is aimed specifically at this age group. Other age restrictions may apply. - Liability for independent classes, events and workshops lies solely with the respective independent tutors or organisations. - Event attendees should be present to register or collect tickets at least 15 minutes prior to start times, otherwise seating may be reallocated. All audience members must be in possession of a ticket. Latecomers may be refused admission. The management reserve the right to refuse admission. - Unless otherwise stated all graphics, logos and commercial markings are registered trademarks. Any use, copying, reproduction, republishing, uploading, posting, transmission or modification, including in advertising or publicity pertaining to or distribution of materials is prohibited without prior written consent. - The Centre will respect your privacy and protect all personal information provided. Information provided will be used by only ourselves to deliver services, funding statistics and to keep you informed with news, offers and events. We do not share this information with third parties unless otherwise instructed by you. A list of order number and surnames only will be provided to independent tutors using the Centre Box Office facility for enrolment in classes as part of the Centre’s terms. - For those wishing to make a complaint, please visit our customer service policy at www.crescentarts.org for full details on the process. - A full range of Centre policies are available on the Centre website. - Management reserve the right to make reasonable changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. - By booking/attending an event/enrolling in a class/workshop at the Centre you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions. Users of the Centre should familiarise themselves with these terms and conditions from time to time. If you enrol for another member of the public, it is your responsibility that this individual is aware of our terms and conditions.
