For enthusiastic beginners and
practicing artists alike, this introduction
to painting will stimulate your
creativity and develop your skills. In
easy-to-follow projects, we will cover a
wide range of methods and materials,
such as acrylics, pastels, watercolour
and mixed media. Some starter
materials are provided.

In this workshop you will learn the
basic techniques of how to create a
simple round basket. We will be using
locally sourced willow in this incredibly
absorbing and satisfying workshop.

Measuring
Techniques for
Life Drawing
A workshop dedicated to the
techniques of sighting with a pencil,
envisaging lines / axes through the
figure for gauging proportion more
correctly. Awareness of negative space
will be included in the context of
drawing the figure in its environment.
Suitable for beginners and those
wishing to refresh their observational
skills. Please bring a 2B+ pencil and
eraser and at least A3 size sketchbook
or paper sheets.

Learn how to make original works of
art to give as gifts or to decorate your
home or party by folding,
deconstructing, glueing, and otherwise
recycling previously-loved books. All
materials are provided but feel free to
bring any old books you would like to
upcycle.
