The Three Italian Songs are back! If you
are learning Italian or you’re just in
love with the most romantic Italian
music, then come to this interactive
workshop where a language tutor and
a musician will have fun with you –
you’ll do some language activities to
expand vocab and practise listening
comprehension, and you’ll sing along
too (but only if you want)!

This workshop will give you the tools to
analyse a piece of script in a specific
and practical manner, in order to solve
the problems of a scene and bring its
characters to life. Dynamic, modern
scenes from plays and films will be
provided for class but feel free to bring
along any material you wish to work
on. Rosie is a classically trained actor
and teaches Drama at QUB as well as
many classes and workshops at the
Crescent Arts Centre.

the basics of narrative construction and

A workshop for those who wish to
extend their knowledge of voice
production. You will learn how to
develop and enrich your vocal range,
as well as the power and expressive
potential of your voice, and you will
apply this technical awareness to work
on play-texts, and prose pieces. Rosie is
a classically trained actor, with over
twenty years’ professional experience.
She runs ‘Speak Out!: A Verbal
Communication Course’ at the Crescent
Arts Centre and is a ‘Resident Expert’ at
Stormont, as part of the Politics Plus
project.
