course for complete beginners! We will
start with the alphabet, and reading
skills, study basic topics like family,
food, likes, hobbies, travelling and
much more about Russia, its people
and culture. Come and meet new
people and talk Russian to each other.
No previous experience required.

along and learn some basic phrases to
help you on holiday such as
introducing yourself, talking about your
likes/dislikes, job and hobbies, ordering
food, eating out and much more! This
class is a continuation of last term for
people who already have a little
knowledge of the language, alphabet,
very basic reading skills and phrases,

Dr Rachael Kelly
will focus on narrative, plotting,
character, setting, description,
dialogue, and more, prompting
participants to think critically about
their work. There will be structured
writing sessions each week, and
students will be encouraged to bring
their work to class for discussion and
feedback in a supportive and creative
environment.
