How is it different from other clubs?
“It’s different than other clubs because it focuses alot on pop culture, we look at anime a lot. But not just anime, any other pieces of media that develop the kind of cult or nerd following. Shows such as Sherlock, Avatar The Last Airbender, and anything that really falls in that range of nerdiness, which is becoming more and more mainstream with all of the new Marvel movies, DC movies, superheroes, all that kind of stuff. It really allows us to look at that, as it influences our culture, but also celebrate why those different pieces of media are important.”
