My Life as a Zucchini

A police officer and his friends help an orphan adjust to his new life at a foster home, (because nothing is better than a French Claymation film about an orphan that nobody has a chance of understanding!)

Zootopia

In a mammal metropolis, a young bunny named Judy Hopps (hmm...subtle) becomes the first of her kind to join the police force. Unfortunately, this proved harder than she imagined. Determined to prove herself, Judy works to uncover the truth behind a mysterious case, even if that means working with a wily fox named Nick Wilde (I don’t need help from Dora to spot this pattern!).

Kubo and the Two Strings

Clever, kindhearted Kubo ekes out a humble living in his seaside town. But his relatively quiet existence is shattered when he accidentally summons a spirit from his past which storms down from the heavens to enforce an age-old vendetta. Now on the run, Kubo joins forces with Monkey and Beetle, and sets out on a thrilling quest to save his family and solve the mystery of his fallen father, the greatest samurai warrior the world has ever known. With the help of his Shamisen - a magical musical instrument - Kubo must battle gods and monsters, including the vengeful Moon King and the evil twin Sisters to unlock the secret of his legacy, reunite his family and fulfill his heroic destiny. (Don’t you wish Jackie Chan had stuck to live action stunts?)

Moana

The sixteen-year-old daughter of a hawaiian chief, Moana, sets off on an adventure with the demi-god Maui to restore the heart of Te-Fiti. (Look! Another Disney movie about love and the power of friendship. Still a better love story than Twilight.)

Arrival

When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks - is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and her team race against time for answers - and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity. (Wow! I didn’t know you could take lines from Interstellar and still make a bad movie.)
