good !” Kira is excited for the season to start to be able to play again and have an audience to play for . Fellow Senior Violet Kennedy said , “ This season will be fun . We have a team this year that has speed . We can depend on the fast break to score more than we have the previous years . Plus , we all get along pretty well and and have already established a pretty solid dynamic .”
Kira adds , “ I think the season will go great . We ’ re missing some seniors this year , but we ’ re all working extra hard in practice and doing our best to be prepared .” The girls have high goals . Coach Kloster said , “ Right now I think our success this season is a big question mark . We have the potential to be very competitive , but there are definitely areas that must improve in order to be successful . How fast we learn these things will determine our success .” Violet also thinks that the age gap on the team won ’ t affect their success .
The girls are back in the gym working hard and getting their head in the game . This season will be one to keep an eye on , as well as in future winters . Coach Kloster commented , “ We had a lot of freshmen girls try out , which is a good thing . Now we begin the process of building skills .” With lots of upcoming talent the program will be building for the future . Violet and Kira both stated that they are excited to play ball with the girls and for our school . Go Raptors !

Once that music comes on and the bass drops , the wrestlers run out , make a lap around the mat , and line up across the other team . That ' s when the good part starts . One by one , the boys shake the opponents ’ hands and we start the match . The boys go hard , doing everything Coach Fink taught them . They wrestle around for a while ; then you hear the whistle and the crowd goes crazy . One of our boys just pinned his opponent . The feeling of your teammate winning is amazing . You feel like you just won a war . You feel a happy warmth fill your body . That feeling is what wrestling is all about , the feeling of being the best , and all of the guys are seeking that feeling this season .
The guys on the team are all one big family . They cheer each other on during a match , and mess around and have fun during practice . They love to make jokes on the bus on the way to the meets , but when they arrive they have their game face on and
