An Air Reel gives you several benefits, one of which is keeping your combine
fed evenly. Combines are designed to be most efficient with a constant
stream of crop running through the machine. The continuous curtain of
high velocity air is directed at the cutter bar which quickly and evenly
feeds your crop to the auger, eliminating bunching.
In addition, shatter loss is reduced as loose seeds are blown into the
header instead of falling to the ground. Adding a Crary Air Reel to
your header can result in an average increase of 1 to 4 bushels
per acre. In less than ideal harvest conditions the benefit of an
Air Reel can be even greater.
