Birdwatching for Beginners walks at Carsington Water . Our regular monthly walks began their 12th year in January accompanied by almost our coldest day on record . Upcoming dates : 5th March , 2nd April , a bonus walk on Sunday 9th April , hoping to see Ospreys , and our annual evening walk looking for those gorgeous Yellow Wagtails on 25th April at 6pm .

Derbyshire Dales Woodcraft Derbyshire Dales Woodcraft Club meets in Wyaston village hall ( DE6 2DR ) on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00pm . The club has about 60 members at varying skill levels , from complete beginner to expert , in woodturning , woodcarving , marquetry and pyrography . We have a mixed programme of visiting demonstrators , hands-on sessions under the guidance of more experienced members and a monthly competition . March 4th . We welcome professional pyrographer , Bob Neill . As well as demonstrating his craft Bob will be giving instruction to anyone wishing to try their hand at this skill . April 1st . Sees a hands-on meeting so if you want to try your hand at carving , woodturning , pyrography etc . come along ( first visit is free ) and give it a go . Free tea / coffee but bring your own lunch !!
