Conference run by master educator Buntricia
Bastian just closed out its October session in
Las Vegas with a bang. The three day class
was attended by approximately 50 Paul Mitchell students with courses in advanced makeup skills including an advance airbrush course with our friend Maria
Moore.
The courses ran as smooth as ever with students and
educators alike leaving more in love with the craft of
makeup than they started. Moore explained that a huge
part of the conference focused on the science behind
makeup—how to use it to get effects better than photoshop. “We’re almost like a plastic surgeon,” she explained, noting how they can, with nothing more than
makeup, perfect a face for photos.
Crowning the event was the Gala, a special bash where
students and educators came together to honor each
other and celebrate their hard work. This year the event
was focused on celebrating the work of founder Buntricia herself, whose hard work and dedication has brought
the conference into the world and kept it going. Buntricia and her team offer a variety of courses throughout
the year in locations all over the US and abroad.
