the Old Jail adjacent to the Rockdale
County Courthouse that serves as a

The Nancy Guinn Memorial Library,
located in Olde Town Conyers, is well
worth a visit to find a good book to
read or conduct research. Named for
Nancy Graham Guinn, founder and first
president of the Conyers Civic League,
Mrs. Guinn raised the necessary funds
to establish a public library for Rockdale
County residents in 1920. The library’s
collection includes books, e-books, audio
books, DVDs, music CDs, computers, law
materials, and more. In addition, the library
offers a full-service children’s department,
a summer reading club, book sales and
