LAUNCHED THE ‘THIS
AYRSHIRE GIRL CAN’
CAMPAIGN ON
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S
DAY.
The hope is to empower and
encourage women to enter
careers or learning
programmes where women’s
participation is traditionally low.
Students took to Twitter using
#ThisAyrshireGirlCan to upload
their own photos.
The students aimed to
encourage women to pursue
traditionally male-dominated
subjects by explaining why they
decided to follow their career
paths.
