07 AYRSHIRE UPDATE HUMAN RESOURCES / ORGANISA– TIONAL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE The staff support and wellbeing programme has begun, and testing of the new payroll system is underway. The recruitment process also continues and training for the ICT teams will begin in June. HR INFORMATION SYSTEMS HEALTH AND SAFETY • Commenced tests of payroll systems solution • Regional Health and Safety statement presented at May APB CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EQUALITIES • Staff support and well-being programme commenced • Equality Impact Assessments completed for key milestones to date • Vision, Values and Voice Phase 2 complete RESOURCING • Management support for Kilwinning campus identified and confirmed to staff • Recruitment process commenced for Director posts • ICT backfill interviews complete • Training plans in place for ICT teams commencing in June FINANCE AND SYSTEMS UPDATE Key policies, including Regional Student Funding and Financial reporting, have now been finalised and progress is being made on migration plans for staff and student email. FINANCE SYSTEMS • Budget revised to include additional funding and resourcing requirements • VAT consultant engaged to address HMRC requirements • ITT (Invitation to tender) for insurance and building valuations in work STUDENT FUNDING • Regional Student funding policy finalised DATA PROTECTION • Regional Data Protection Policy and Guidelines drafted • Regional Social Media Policy in final design INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY • Started migration plans for student and staff email • Kilwinning ICT equipment, software and systems installed to provide services for all functions • Testing internal contingency for connectivity using firewall technology • Working with consultants to install telephone solution • Regional Acceptable Use policy drafted
