MERGER MILESTONES
– ACHIEVEMENTS
There have been a number of key achievements
across each of the workstreams and subgroups
since our last edition. We appreciate that
there may be a need for a ‘College Merger
Dictionary’ to translate some of the language!
However there will be elements within the
summary that each of you recognise which
are critical to the smooth operation of the
college from Vesting Day.

Lots of positive activity across all
of the subgroups this month,
with engagement on website
development, preparation of
curriculum documents and
designs agreed for signage
and staff and student ID badges.
GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
It has been a productive month, with Vice Principals
appointed and a new Student President elected.
• Papers for the merger laid in Parliament on 31 May
• Formal requests for consent for name change to
the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator and
to the Cabinet Secretary
• Vice Principals appointed for Corporate Services,
Learning and Teaching, HR/Organisational Wellbeing
• Student President and Vice Presidents appointed
• Transfer of Kilwinning Campus PFI to Ayrshire
• Transition plans for Regional Board in place
