SOCIAL SCIENCES STUDENTS HAVE BEEN DELIVERING A SERIES OF DISCUSSIONS FOR ELDERLY KILMARNOCK RESIDENTS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA
“
The ‘ Kilmarnock Talks ...’ collaborative project between Alzheimer Scotland and the College allows people living with dementia to get involved in conversations with the students on a range of topics within a comfortable environment .
‘ Kilmarnock Talks …’ are monthly sessions and cover politics , modern history , geography and philosophy . The first session focused on poverty and the welfare state .
