Ayrshire Business Week finished in style at the Gallery Restaurant in our Kilmarnock Campus, with a Ready, Steady Ayrshire College Cook, in aid of Go Purple Day for the Ayrshire Hospice where we helped to raise over £1,500. Professional Cookery students Tommy Walker and Scott Duncan were the sous chefs for the day. Each team was provided with a selection of raw ingredients and given thirty minutes to come up with the most innovative and tasty Two teams comprising menu. The audience Ayrshire Chamber enjoyed canapés made of Commerce Chief by hospitality students Executive Val Russell and an Ayrshire College and Chief Executive of Go Purple mocktail, the Ayrshire Hospice, created by Hospitality Mandy Yule, supported and Bartending student by hospitality lecturers Gemma McIntosh.
