SPECIAL ADVERTISING PROFILE The Firehouse Left to right: Bob Dockray, Zoran Milevski, Nick Milevski and Robert Barilli “Customer Satisfaction is Our Satisfaction” BROTHERS NICK AND ZORAN MILEVSKI bring more than 25 years of experience to the well-established Firehouse Family Restaurant in Garfield. The Milevski brothers bought the restaurant in 2010 after running a successful family deli business here in town. Nick, well respected in the city and a former board of education member, is currently running for city council. The Firehouse is known for their original thin crust pizza. The restaurant boasts a menu that is pub-style with Italian American flare. The working force behind the menu comes from years of experience with Chef Rob Barilli, who has worked at the Firehouse since 1991, and Chef Bob Dockray who joined the family in 2010. The Firehouse can accommodate parties of up to 70 people in their upstairs quarters, or a more intimate gathering of 20 people in a smaller room in the front of the restaurant. The restaurant is the perfect place for a casual date or a family night out. “This is the place you come to eat,” Zoran Milevski says. “You get a great meal for a great price.” Customers come to try the pizza and end up loving all the other things they make, like the $12 open sliced steak that cannot be matched in quality or price. The fresh FH mussels in the red sauce, hot sandwiches like the Godfather or the Volunteer, and a great chicken parmesan with linguini to name a few. The menu also includes delicious wings, steaks, burgers and other chicken entrées, as well as a full-service bar with 12 beers on tap. The Firehouse is rich in history and is one of the oldest buildings in Garfield. The vintage firehouse was built in 1908 and was converted to a pub serving the community since the 1950s. The Milevskis pay homage to its history by honoring all branches of service with patches and fire department memorabilia as décor. “You’re going to walk out happy more ways than one,” Zoran says. “Nick and I were raised with hard, honest work ethics which makes for a successful business. By paying careful attention to the quality and freshness of the food we serve, the customers can taste the difference. We are a blue collar restaurant that pays homage to the working man and family man alike. We pride ourselves on the fact that people from all walks of life come through our doors, but everyone leaves with the same feeling of having a satisfying meal.” 42 Plauderville Avenue, Garfield, NJ (973) 478-2226 www.firehouse-restaurant.com
