In 2016 a number of El Dorado businesses expanded their employee base, added square footage and improved the overall landscape of El Dorado.
Stores such as Sunny Stop, Emprise Bank and McDonalds all built brand new facilities with up to date architecture and modern conveniences for all to enjoy.
Other businesses such as Animal Care Center and Resort, Butler REC, and Superior Auto Glass & Accessories kept their current space but also expanded their business' offerings by adding additional square footage and services to better accommodate their customer's needs.
Charlies Appliance, Assured Occupational Solutions, Butler County Farm Bureau Association and Heritage Funeral Homes all found other locations that would be a better fit for their new and growing businesses.
Plus there were many fresh startups in 2016, that added employees and new services. BetCo LLC, an electronic health records company opened their doors along with Arrowhead Heating and Air Conditioning, a company ready to fix your heating and air conditioning needs; or repair your appliances. Artic Clean opened their doors ready to clean and restore anything any item with new technology and dry ice. The Sweet Mercantile, a gift shop and chocolate store celebrated there opening downtown, along with Great Beginnings Boutique, a Women's clothing store where all proceeds help support a locla non-profit, the family and pregnancy center. Aiya Spas & Suites, celebrated their opening offering massages, infrared sauna treatments, facials and more! Plus Barnes Monuments, a local headstone rock and memorial company, Brandon Demo, Shelter Insurance and Cricket Wireless all moved or opened their doors in El Dorado for the first time!
