It is midnight in Paris, and the evening
is alive with music and laughter. Dressed
in their finest, guests sip champagne,
and dance the night away beneath an
illuminated sky, bursting with fireworks…
The Joyous Festival, painted by Gaston La
Touche in 1906, is a vibrant, celebratory
painting which captures the excitement
and romance of an evening in Paris. This
painting is one of the many incredible
works in the upcoming exhibition,
Impressionism from Monet to Matisse.
It is my honor to invite you to celebrate
this major exhibition on March 2, 2013 at
the Columbia Museum of Art 2013 Gala,
Le Bal du Moulin Rouge.
Celebrate the arts in the spirit of Parisian
style, as the CMA is transformed into the
famed Moulin Ro
