The museum was also given two paintings
by writer and painter, Lee Hall (b. 1934).
Hall served as the dean of Visual Arts at
the State University of New York/ Purchase
and president of the Rhode Island School
of Design. Hall was at the epicenter of the
Abstract Expressionist movement, writing
a significant book on Elaine and Bill de
Kooning and exhibiting her work at the
influential Betty Parsons gallery.
