Intimate gallery talks in October feature Kathleen Robins, Associate Professor of Studio Art: Photography at USC, in the Michael Kenna: Venezia exhibition, and artist Jeff Donovan speaking about personal work in the exhibition An Artist’s Eye and his experiences as a working artist. Hudson River Lecture Series Thursdays, November 3, 10, 17 and December 1 | 10:00 - 11:00 am In anticipation of the exhibition, Nature and the Grand American Vision, brush up on your knowledge of American Art with Professor Lydia Mattice Brandt. This four-part lecture series explores ideas of national identity and the intersection of art, culture, and politics in mid-nineteenth-century America. Lydia Mattice Brandt’s work focuses on popular American architecture of the late 19th and early 20th-centuries, particularly the Colonial Revival.
