Blues, Country, Rock, Mexican Cumbias, and Southern Psychedelic, J.D. Simo, a Chicago
native, has covered all of these music styles. Simo first gained popularity by plying his guitar skills
at Robert’s Western World on Lower Broadway in Nashville, TN. Like many artists before him J.D.
came to Music City chasing a dream, but first he had to pay his dues. Collectible Guitar caught
up with J.D. Simo at House of Blues Studio D as he and his band prepared their next album.
