Concert is returning for limited Encore
screenings from Saturday 13th September

The hometown concert was recently
broadcast via satellite, thanks to

Australia and New Zealand as part
of a worldwide cinema event,
involving over 1200 cinemas.
This exciting cinema event is hosted
by British television presenter
Charlotte Hawkins, co-host of
ITV’s morning show Good
Morning Britain. Charlotte

immediately after his

concert series. To
celebrate
the
tenth anniversary
of his traditional summer evening concerts,
staged in the most romantic city square in
The Netherlands - the Vrijthof in Maastricht
- the maestro’s fans are treated to one
of the most extraordinary concerts of
the year from the comfort of their local
cinema.
‘The King of Waltz’ works his magic to
present an unforgettable evening filled
with humour, music and emotion for
fans and music lovers of every age. The
dramatic and alluring medieval square
is transformed into a romantic open-air
concert venue, featuring André and
his famous 60-piece Johann Strauss
Orchestra, along with many guest artists,
soloists, plus impressive light shows and
spectacular fireworks.
André said: “My 10th Anniversary
hometown concert is very dear to my
heart and I wish everyone could be here
to help us celebrate. However, if you can’t
join us in Maastricht, I hope I can touch
your heart by bringing this special evening
to you, on the big screen in your local

Last July’s cinema event of Andre’s
traditional summer evening concert broke
UK box office records by gaining the
highest verified opening weekend gross
($1,4200,000 Source: Rentrak) for an Artist’s
Music Concert released into Cinemas.
