This opportunity will be available to those students who will commence studies at TAFE in February. With the Gold Coast set to host the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the knowledge the students will gain whilst in Glasgow attending an event of this calibre, will be invaluable. Tammy Papalia, teacher of Event Management, says”it out intention that through this program our students will gain hands on international even experience that directly relates to their studies and will place them in a unique position to gain future employment. Not only will the tour include time spent at the games, organisers are planning a visit to the world renowned Glenagles Golf Resort which will host the prestigious Ryder’s Cup later this year. They will then travel onto Edinburgh to attend the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s largest arts festival which encompasses 40,000 performances in over 350 different venues.
