DOORS&WINDOWS Rocplas has been very busy of late, particularly overseas where the company will soon be exhibiting at ‘The Big Five’ in Dubai and ‘Saudibuild’ in Saudi Arabia. Rocplas, which supplies insulated glass components, decorative grille and furniture components, has several companies that distribute its products worldwide, such as in Russia, India, Canada and South America. Rocplas is gaining fans around the world and Managing Director, Adam Roker, see these as key growth areas for his business. “That’s not to say that the UK is playing second fiddle, on the contrary,” he says. “The UK remains Rocplas’ bread butter business and there are some major activities happening for the company here too,” he explains. From a sales background and with 25 years of industry experience, Adam has a keen eye for what the customer wants. 10 years ago he identified a niche in the market for decorative products and Rocplas has gone from strengthto-strength ever since. “Take the patent that has recently been granted on the exclusive Crystal Collection, a glass bevel encapsulated within an injection molding that eliminates the chemicals usually needed in the application of traditional products, making it more ecofriendly. The patent provides validation to our customers of the product’s originality and inimitability.” Due to the increase in the variety of door hardware and to ensure the range remains at the cutting edge, Rocplas has introduced 2 new colours to compliment current trends. Inox is a matt bronze colour and compliments the coordinating hardware ancillaries available. Matt aluminum is also very on trend at the moment and the Crystal collection has a product to match that too. Other ranges from Rocplas include the Fusion Collection, which is popular with many door panel and composite door manufacturers. Inspirations is a range of decorative molding in a variety of colours. All the ranges can now be seen at the 5,000sqm state-of-the-art showroom inside the Company’s new 16,000sqm premises. “All our products are displayed in the showroom in double glazed windows and doors. We invite fabricators to come and see them for themselves because they really must be seen to be truly appreciated. That’s why we have invested heavily in our new facilities and showroom,” says Adam.
