any in-house jobs but much of our work is also
carried out on-site,” Dean explained. “In-house

much in demand. We offer a 10 year guarantee
on pre-installation trade work.
“We also can repair the slight damage that
sometimes occurs to windows during transit.
Foils do get scratched, aluminium can get dented
- and for this kind of thing we can provide a
cost-effective and rapid service which the trade
finds invaluable.
“On-site we carry out a lot of cosmetic
rectification work. For example, people often
leave keys in their aluminium bi-folding doors
and this causes dents when the doors are
concertinered. We can go on-site and repair these
without the hassle of removing and replacing the
whole installation. It makes good sense for the
supplier, the installer and the home owner.”

Dean knows his stuff: he is a qualified
sprayer on all materials and has worked
in the PVCu colour coating industry and,
unlike most s prayers, he also has considerable
experience in specialist cosmetic rectification.
He carries out cosmetic repair work on
different materials – even stone.
“Sometimes there can be damage to material
such as stone during installation, but we can
put this right, no problem.
“We travel all over the country – recent
jobs took us to London and Dundee –because
there just doesn’t seem to be anybody else
doing what we do. We believe ours is a unique
skillset – a three way service encompassing inhouse spraying, on-site work and also cosmetic
rectification for which there is a growing
demand.”

BIGGEST TV CAMPAIGN

‘Origin, a new species of door’
made its TV debut, on Sunday 1st
June, during Dream Homes on
Sky TV. Origin, the UK’s leading
manufacturer of folding sliding
doors, will be sponsoring the
channel for three months, as part
of the brand’s biggest television
ad campaign to date.
The campaign, which was aired
for the first time on Sky channel
246 and Virgin 265, depicts the
origin and evolution of the door,
using 10 second comical sketches,
each showing how doors have
progressed from the dark ages
through to modern times.
The action flits between a
Neanderthal and modern-day
couple, with sweeping panoramic
shots of the Origin bi-folding door.
The ad will run until the end of
August, and is backed by press,
digital and social media activity.

best – illustrating how bifolding
doors can enhance any property
and raise awareness of the Origin

This is the second TV campaign
