eventNEWS A PERFECT FIT Essex-based fabricator, Climatec Windows, has snapped up a stand at next year’s Fit Show in Telford and where better to showcase its brand new products using the newly launched Calibre system. This is a ‘first’ for Climatec who has never exhibited before, however after visiting the exhibition this year, it was agreed that this event would be the perfect platform to showcase the Calibre system as well as Climatec’s wide range of top quality, industry accredited windows and doors. Never one to shy away from innovation and new developments in the market place, Climatec are excited to take on the challenge of creating an exhibition stand that will showcase the best of fabrication, with the best of the industry’s high quality products. Climatec’s Marketing & Sales Co-ordinator, Jayne Lovett, says, “Launching new products to your own customers is a task in itself, but to convince an established industry of new products ‘This event would be the perfect platform’ fabricated from a newly launched profile system is an even bigger task. We visited the Fit Show this year and the resulting success convinced us that this would be the ideal event to launch our Calibre windows and doors.” Visit www.climatec-windows. co.uk, call 01702 613733. It’s Not about the Numbers Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent is well known for its presence each year as a finalist and winner of the National G-Awards for the Glass and Glazing Industry, having been finalist 18 times in the last 9 consecutive years, and winner of 7 awards. However, Mark Warren, Listers Managing Director, says that its success goes much deeper than just going after awards for the sake of them. Mark says that “awards come as a bonus to our always driving the business forward.” So what have they being doing this year to receive a total of 5 nominations in the G-13 Awards? Listers nominated Finalists for: Fabricator of the Year, Commercial Project of the Year, Environmental Initiative, Training & Development Initiative, and Customer Care Initiative. “We were stunned to receive so many nominations this year and very proud to be recognised again,” said Mark. “Our staff have all been working exceptionally hard over the last year and we have made some great improvements in our business.” It would seem that it was the range of unusual and customer focused activities that made it stand out to the judges this year. www.clearview-uk.com To read more, visit www.clearview-uk.com DEC 2013 19
