succeeded André Brütsch as Head
of the Bystronic glass Group
In his position as Chief
Executive Officer (CEO), he will
automatically become a member
of the Conzzeta AG Management
Group.
Burghard Schneider studied at
Munich Technical University where
he gained his doctorate in the field
of machine construction, which
focused on process optimisation.
His experience in the glass industry

Jeff Newton has joined
Synseal Extrusions Ltd
in a newly-created role of
Head of Logistics, with full
responsibility at Operations
Board level to manage
warehousing and transport
operations for Synseal, K2 and
Global Glass.
Well known in the window
industry, Jeff is an accomplished
logistics expert who is already
busy implementing many
practical improvements to
raise service levels and increase
efficiency, for the benefit of
both Synseal and its fabricator
partners.

effectiveness and to drive
efficiencies within its logistics
functions”, says Jeff. “I’m

new markets for the company.
Most recently, Dr Schneider
worked for the international
Felss Group, which is actively
involved in machinery and systems
engineering.

that will yield many customer
benefits. All of these can be
achieved even more efficiently

PROMOTIONS
AT SUN TRADE
Sun Trade Windows, the
premier REHAU fabricator
across the South, recently
announced further expansion
plans resulting in the promotion
of two of its external sales team.
Lee Thomas has been promoted
from Wales Regional Manager
to National Sales Manager and
Richard Lane from Southern
Regional Manager to National
Depot Manager.
For both, the change of title
reflects how their new roles
will see them influence not just
one region, but all 12 depots
nationally.
