MOVERS&SHAKERS Dr Burghard Schneider has succeeded André Brütsch as Head of the Bystronic glass Group In his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he will automatically become a member of the Conzzeta AG Management Group. Burghard Schneider studied at Munich Technical University where he gained his doctorate in the field of machine construction, which focused on process optimisation. His experience in the glass industry ‘Offers numerous processing possibilities’’ sector was gained through scientific co-operation projects. Subsequently, during a ten year period, he then held a number of senior posts at the German specialist NEWCOMER JEFF WILL DELIVER THE GOODS AT SYNSEAL Jeff Newton has joined Synseal Extrusions Ltd in a newly-created role of Head of Logistics, with full responsibility at Operations Board level to manage warehousing and transport operations for Synseal, K2 and Global Glass. PROMOTIONS AT SUN TRADE Sun Trade Windows, the premier REHAU fabricator across the South, recently announced further expansion plans resulting in the promotion of two of its external sales team. Lee Thomas has been promoted from Wales Regional Manager to National Sales Manager and Richard Lane from Southern Regional Manager to National Depot Manager.
