Nova Aluminium is a Bristol-based, trade
only supplier of quality aluminium windows,
doors and curtain walling solutions.
The company fabricates solely from the
comprehensive range of Smart Aluminium
products and has done so since Nova was
formed in early 2005.
Window systems include options suitable
for all architectural, commercial and domestic
projects with innovative designs such as the
new Heritage range and the popular Alitherm
700 parallel window.
Nova’s aluminium window fabrication
service is proving particularly useful to a
large number of companies which tend to
only supply PVCu windows but which are
now seeing a definite trend to consider the
aluminium alternative.
Nova has se t up a specific “White Line”
production facility in addition to its
impressive assembly lines to offer glazing
companies a rapid turnaround on white
casement windows manufactured from Smarts
Alitherm systems.

Doors are supplied for all applications with
at present the most popular being from the
choice of Bi-Folding doors available from
the range which suits all markets in both the
commercial and domestic sectors.

Pedestrian doorsets for escape routes
Commercial entrance doors are a large part
of Nova’s output and are manufactured from
the Smartwall system which has a Polyamide
thermal barrier - this is one of the best
performing fully thermally broken screen and
entrance door system in the UK.
Shopline offers a standard ground floor
treatment designed to withstand heavy traffic
in commercial buildings, both systems offer all
the various options required for commercial
entrances.
Curtain walling is an operation for which
Nova has designated 6000 sq. ft. of factory
space specifically geared for the production
of all of the range of curtain walling systems
offered by Smarts. Projects are often delivered
direct to site.
Nova is a strict trade supplier to glazing
companies and do not supply any glass
unless specifically specified or the system is
of a wraparound nature.
All deliveries are made on the company’s
own transport using its own drivers which
they believe is the best possible way to ensure
that their customers receive their orders on
time and more importantly in good order.
The company currently operates a fleet of
five delivery vehicles.
NOVA operates from a 35,000 plus sq.
ft. facility just off the M32 motorway in
St Jude, Bristol, employs more than 50
people and is well-equipped with the latest
machinery to ensure fast moving production
lines.
