Following the development of a completely new site visitors to www.freefoam.com have increased significantly year on year from 2012 to 2013. ‘Figures show that our site is certainly raising our digital profile and bringing Freefoam to a wider audience.’ Freefoam has harnessed the power of a strong online presence, building a site that offers visitors a detailed breakdown of the full Freefoam product range alongside target audience focussed support material. Architects, specifiers and house-builders are able to source a comprehensive range of literature, CAD drawings and technical support from the site whilst homeowners can easily research style and colour roofline options to make an informed decision. Louise Sanderson, UK Marketing Executive, explained “We made a strategic decision to increase our visibility online, and these figures show that our site is certainly raising our digital profile and bringing Freefoam to a wider audience. The site allows us to showcase our core range of fascia, soffit and rainwater systems, but we have also seen an increasing number of leads for our Fortex cladding and Geopanel interior panelling range.” Spring cleaning time for glaziers Spring is the traditional time for having a clear-out – and Steve Clarke says that glaziers, fabricators, installers and contractors should begin with their refuelling. Marketing manager for The Fuelcard People, a Fuel Card Group company, he insists that it makes sense for any business using road transport. “Some firms with vans or trucks have been using the same fuel cards for years, without ever taking a real look at better ‘I am absolutely sure that we will be able to find you a better deal’ Steve Clarke options. Some, unbelievably, are happy to pay pump prices. For anything else they buy, from tyres to teabags, they shop around for bargains. You would think that they would be equally keen on keeping down the cost of refuelling.” So confident is Steve that he has thrown out a bold challenge to the glass industry: whatever your current deal, it could be better. “I am absolutely sure that we will be able to find you a better deal,” he said. “It is “definitely Spring cleaning” time, so make a start with your fuel cards.” T: 0844 870 6942, E: info@ thefuelcardpeople.co.uk, W: www.thefuelcardpeople.co.uk Craig Phillips to continue as Blåkläder ambassador Celebrity DIY/ construction expert Craig Phillips – who regularly writes for Pro-Installer - has is to continue to act as brand ambassador for Swedish workwear manufacturer, Blåkläder. 8 MAR 2014 Craig (pictured) spends most of his time on construction sites, home makeovers and other heavy duty environments such as television sets.
