INSTALLERSUPPORT Tradesmith supports installers by supporting homeowners TS Collection (the manufacturing brand name of Tradesmith Ltd) is keen to demonstrate the high level of support offered to its large network of trusted installers. The Hailsham-based Halo fabricator has unveiled a new consumer website, along with an informative product maintenance guide for installers to give to domestic customers. Mark Hutchinson Tradesmith MD explains: “The new, consumer TS Collection website follows the redesign of our trade site. Both were designed to support our installer network. “www.tscollection.co.uk is a leadgeneration site which showcases our expansive product range and encourages homeowners to choose their local, authorised installer of the TS Collection. “The new site is in a simple-tonavigate format making it easy for homeowners to find the products they’re interested in. “It’s important to us that the TS Collection is promoted as a professional organisation offering high quality products. That’s why we use high-spec Halo systems, because they hold all the relevant accreditations for quality and security. “Fabricating Halo profile also allows us to take advantage of the Variations colour range, giving our customers an extra ‘sales tool’ with which to approach homeowners. www.tscollection.co.uk, www.halo-uk.com MARK HAS DESIGNS ON IMPROVING SELECTA’S CUSTOMER SUPPORT Selecta Systems says it is continuing to invest in providing customers with ‘that extra added service and support’, with the appointment of Mark Walker to its marketing and design department. Over the last 10 years or so, he is said to have been ‘instrumental’ in managing and maintaining all of Selecta’s certifications and accr editations – ensuring ISO9001, ISO14001, BS EN 12608, PAS24 and Secure by Design compliance. Mark’s role within the marketing and design department now sees him offer a marketing support service for Selecta’s customer base, including the provision of marketing literature and editorial content for the trade press, as well as website and social media advice. Mark Richmond, sales and marketing director, commented: “Mark’s broad range of design and marketing skills have been duly recognised and combined with his meticulous working methods, we see Mark blossoming within the role. With this appointment, we are demonstrating to our customers that Selecta is not just about providing a quality product and service, but it is also about supporting and helping customers develop their business. Their success is duly our success.” Mark Walker added: “This is an opportunity to develop working relationships between our customers and ourselves and a role of which I am really looking forward to getting my teeth in to!” New service will give installers ‘vital intelligence’ Leads2trade, the company behind the Trusted Local Suppliers Network, is to roll out a new service to its members in the coming months. 76 APR 2014 Leads2trade generates doublequalified home improvement leads via a 200 strong online network of sites- which fall under the banner of Trusted Local Suppliers and Compare Companies - where homeowners register to find tradesman to carry out work such as conservatory, solar and double glazing installations. Home improvement companies and installers can then buy these leads in any postcode area they want; and pitch their products and services to consumers. In 2013 Leads2trade members closed over £60M of sales through the service. To boost the opportunity of members winning profitable new business, Leads2trade has launched a new consumer feedback function. For every double qualified lead that is sold the consumer, who initially enquired about getting a quote for home improvement work, will be sent a survey within three and 10 days of enquiring. It will ask the owner questions about pricing, product knowledge, professionalism. Members will then be able to log into their members areas and read the feedback they received.
