New Low Threshold Patio Door
System - Assisting Wheelchair Users
»»The Liniar design team have
re-written the rule book with their innovative
patio range – engineering in features such
as a built-in decelerator and ModLok™, the
patented Liniar Multi Point Lock to name but
a few. Offering homeowners reassurance, the
multi point lock is Yale branded and comes
with a 10 year mechanical warranty.
The Liniar patio has an effortless opening
mechanism and revolutionary multi-wheeled
‘air glide’ system. The patio door range can
achieve a U value of 1.3 W/m2K when fitted
with a double glazed unit, and can be triple
glazed for those high spec installations.
The latest innovation to the range is the
thermally broken aluminium low-threshold
option, ideal for family homes or where
wheelchair access is required. Ultra-low, the
Liniar threshold measures just 24mm at
its highest point, with a gold or silver hard
wearing anodised finish, which perfectly
complements the door hardware.
Tested to the requirements of Part M the
thermally broken low threshold improves
the overall thermal performance for the full
perimeter of the door.
It can be used on 2, 3 or 4 pane patios and
is suitable for use on restricted access sites via a
mechanical joint assembly.
